Hey Guys! Thought I'd start a forum for those applying for Spring 2019 of the

Brookhaven nursing program. I still have to do the Critical Thinking exam, dosage calc class, Hesi! Can't wait to talk to you guys as we apply!!

Does anyone know where I can get a hep. B titer and not so expensive? I have no insurance and I will have to pay out-of-pocket. Thank you.

I believe I read in another forum that you could try the Health Department of whichever county you live in. Not sure about the pricing, but they could probably tell you over the phone.

Does anyone in this thread have their Dosage and Calc book for sale? Just thought I could buy from someone who's already taken the course and wants it off their hands. Thank you!

can anyone who took the dosage calc exam already give me some insight about it? like how many questions and scantron needed and difficulty levels and best ways to study???

I didn't purchase the book to study for the test. Since I was taking pharmacology in the summer, it had a section where you had to review dosage and calculations. Pretty much it was the same. Another thing that will help is the 2 practice exams and the website Dr. Meyers provided on blackboard. The test has 100 questions. But If you study the material on BBC you should be good. Good luck on your test. Took mines saturday.
