Hello everyone, I would like to know who's applying to Brookhaven this fall for their Spring 2012 class, if so how many with how many points? I will be taking my last support course this summer, which is my elective (PHIL 1304). I am so excited, upon completion of this course I will have 32.39 points. I can't tell how nervous I am, I hope this is enough. Any advice from previous or current nursing program is welcomed.
Sugarmag, I don't think they'll change it after this long though. I think I'm going to take EOL first semester as long as it doesn't interfere with the nursing classes schedule. I'm worried about choosing the wrong semester to take EOL as well. I went and tried on a few different tennis shoes tonight and I am completely hating the all white shoes. I couldn't find a pair I would want to buy so I guess I will keep looking.
Hi ladies, my excitement is still here. Finally, I get to enjoy this weekend. I been working 12 hours shifts at the hospital since Tuesday, and so I have been very exhausted. I'm ready to unwind. I don't return back to work until Tuesday so I plan to relax and do my remaining assignments in this 4-day break from work.
Just wanted to let everyone know that I started a Facebook group for our class. Someone started a group for the spring group last year and they had 35 members... I think it would be awesome to have so many of us in one cyber-spot to check in with. If you would like to join, it's called 'Brookhaven College Nursing Spring 2012'. Hope to see you there!

First semester is a huge a adjustment itself. IMO, it was the hardest. It isn't that you can't make it through, but you have quite a bit of studying to do (first test in lecture was about two weeks after school started and covered 15 chapters). You have check offs, skills lab. I worked full time throughout the whole program, and it was rough for just that reason alone. However, the amount of stress that comes from being in an accelerated program is overwhelming at first. I didn't loosen up until the end of first semester. I'm in fourth now. Fourth semester is a dream compared to first semester.

If you're wanting a substitute for EOL, I know you can take Death & Dying at Collin College... it's a Psych course.
