Brookhaven/Mountain View Fall 2009

Is there anyone else applying for this fall. I believe the program is going to be accepting about 80 students since Mountain View is accepting a class this Fall. I'm not sure how many points I will have yet, because I'm going to retake my HESI on Feb. 12th. So we'll see. Yet, this is my first time applying and I'm taking my Patho, Pharm, Dosage and End of Life as we speak. So EVERYTHING is riding on my HESI. Good luck to everyone! Let's hope and pray everyone on Allnurses gets in! ;)

Ok, now I am confused. I wonder why I am going to MV then if I had 31.99 points and I applied to BH?

i dont how the app works. but did you happen to put MV as your first choice by accident? i love the brookhaven campus its beautiful. but MV its not that bad campus wise but as far as the school and program i have no idea, sorry i couldnt have helped, but i had to comment on why you might have got in at MV and not brookhaven

Trust me, Brookhaven was my first choice. But I did put that I would be willing to go to either schools. Just wondering why they would send me 20 miles past BH unless they didn't even look at that sort of thing. CONFUSED!!!

yeah. and i was reading that you had a 31.99 and the other person had 29, and those are both GREAT number of points, but with yours being higher you'd think that they would put you at your first choice. i call and see. what was the maximum amount possible that you could receive in points.

Unfortunately I did not get in. My points were 26.54 and I had applied for Mountain View's program. This is the second time for me to apply and now I'm getting very frustrated and I don't know what to do.

I just read my acceptance email, and like some of you, am confused as to why I was placed in the MV program even though my score was higher (30.61 pts) than others and my first choice was BH. I have taken all my supporting classes at BH and am familiar with all the instructors, and am kinda bummed that I won't get to have classes in the new health building. However, I'm am soooo thankful that I got in as it was my second time to apply. Congratulations to everyone was accepted for Fall 2009! I'll be seing you! :D

Oh well, I had 24.87 and didn't get in. Wasn't expecting to, just to get the three points for re-application. I should have 34 points for Spring admission after completing other pre-reqs, congrats to all that got in. See you next Spring!!!

so far ive seen the lowest at 29, anybody below that and got in. congrats to everybody who did, and those who didnt keep trying youll get it.

If you don't get in, do they let you know right off that you are on the waiting list?

I got in to BH with 31.90 points.

I am soooo excited !!!

:yeah:Congrats to all who got accepted and for those that didn't keep trying you will get in.

Regarding those who got placed at MV I took Patho there last summer and the teacher Ms. Breed was nice. I put on my application that BH was first choice and didn't leave the other choice open because I was afraid that what happened is what was going to happen. MV is too far for me, but hey we're in.....

I talked to both of my Microbiology lab partners and they both got into MV also. I think one of them had a 28. The crazy thing is that two of us live in Denton and one in Flower Mound. It is great that we can all car pool together. I guess we can wave at BH as we roll by to South Dallas. But hey, at least we are in!
