I am hoping to be part of the Brookhaven College Spring 2017 Nursing Class and I want to start a new thread where other potential students can communicate with one another. I am almost done with my pre-requisites. Currently I am working on getting Chemistry and Ethics out of the way. I plan on taking nursing pathophysiology this summer if it is offered.
Any one have any suggestions on how to prepare for the HESI A2? I am also interested in any advice that can help me with my dosage class. I am very nervous about the dosage course since the test must be passed with a 90%. Good luck everyone!
It's September 15th!!! Unfortunately it looks like the AC has been out in building X so it is expected to be closed until Monday. I guess we just hold on tight to those applications for another few days :)
The nursing office has been moved to the library (building L). Mrs. Huntsberger and Ms. Summers are located to the right of the enterance that is near the water fountain.
Turned in everything. I do need to get a Hep B titer. Does anyone know of a location by any chance? Dallas/Carrollton area
Yay! So the titer does not need to be turned in with the application?
im going to Lumnicare in farmers branch for the titer- i got the varicella titer there last month along with my third hepB- I plan on going next week for the titer. I believe it's 30.00
For HepB series you need all three as well as a positive titer. And it looks like for the application you just need to submit the hep B series and the titter will be needed if you get accepted. The nurse at the campus can go over your immunization records to ensure you have all the requirements. She is super helpful!Hi! I'm turning in my packet next week but was wondering if we need to have immunization series form and a titer?i have a copy of my immunization series from my doctor but don't have a titer. Do you know if we need to have both?
