I don't know exact . immi has changed the requirements, so u can check on immigration site under more information for students and student visa living cost and evidence of funds.
My fellow nurses.. I just attended the free orientation to ANSC in Greenhills. They help to process things from Application to NBV, application of visa, accomodation for 13 weeks, student health insurance, air fare to NBV and finding an employer for you while you are on 3 months BP. But you will be on a student visa so that you can have a work for 20 hours a week to support your self while you are in NBV. In spite of that glamorous introduction, my eyes popped out when they laid out the overall expenses, 23,000 Australian Dollars for the whole package? That is too expensive and your sponsor must have an 17,000 Australian Dollars in their bank accounts.
Guys I need your advise. What are the universities in NBV which still have an intake for IEN"s this year? Let's say given 5 months of waiting for the eligibility from NBV can I still make it to apply for a univesity? And how much should it really cost for the 3 months BP,same with the expenses for food and accomodation? For thoe who are in Victoria right now please shed some information so that I can lend money for the entire cost that I will going to incur in Australia. Thank you for those who will going to reply. May God Bless yo all!

wow, narscathy..23thou aud??? that is too much!!!...does that include the tuition fee already or is that just the agency's fees? does it include airfare too?
anyway, why dont you try to do it by yourself..just find the time to read on the requirements and instructions. i applied to the nbv (as well as to the nmbwa) on my own...and just spent around 300aud for the application fees and the courier... then if you get a positive assessment..you apply, tuition is around 10thousand australian dollars for the 3-month bp...for the visa, if you want student visa, i think the fee is around 21thousand pesos... if you will just get the business short stay, fee is around p5000.00.....health insurance in australia is around 350 aud....im not so sure about the acommodations, but my sister who resides in dandenong in melbourne pays around 450aud per week for a 3 bedroom apartment.. but that's for the whole family....remember 3 months is around 9 to 10 weeks..so even if you get a 3 bedroom apartment (which you probably wont) that's around 4,500aud. anyway, you get the picture, right? my worth of advice: apply on your own..countless of others did and they were successful..im sure you will be, too...good luck!
im still waiting for my assessment from the nbv, but i already have my nmbwa assessment letter. all the best to all of us!

I agree with Drednag,23,000 $ is super expensive, you can do it on your own.You can also just rent 1 room at 120-160 $ p.w bills included (1440-1920 for 12 weeks) or homestay where food is included. I almost sign with the agency last oct. 2008 and they have only one pathway that time-- QNC Challenge Test package cost 9500 $ (around 320,000 ) but modules are to be paid by the applicant if you fail a subject.Package includes one way airfare, accomodation, review materials/review, work placement, airport pick-up, and visa.
