None... She (love_nature) simply stated that some schools would accept OET or IELTS while there are schools that accept IELTS only and doesn't recognize OET.Meanwhile since you're from the Philippines, I would suggest getting your IELTS done before even applying with NBV. If you find it hard to pass IELTS with all 7 in all sub tests, then you may opt to try OET which is more expensive to take than IELTS. However, some say it's easier to pass OET. Worse come to worse scenario you may want to take up IELTS courses in OZ if you really have trouble getting all 7.
yeah haoyin u might be right bcos I told according to nursing board, now which college accept on ielts or both i don't know. I just know about La trobe they only accept Ielts..........
hi. would you know if the bridging program will still be available this july? (national registration changes)
I just rang NBV and asked your concern and she said that she is not sure what changes will happen after the national registration new policies will be implemented. There are no advises yet as of the moment. We just have to keep an eye on their website. You can also check these sites:

No Prob. My advice for you is just to stay calm during the IELTS exam. Don't lose focus especially during the listening sub tests. You will find that speaking/reading/listening sub tests is just a breeze once you're focused on the exam. Don't fret too much about the time. Although I would suggest that you do some practice writing so that you can fit 2 essays in an hour as I feel that the writing sub tests is the most difficult of the 4.
For the writing part 2, I would generally suggest you make an outline on your mind, a quick outline. Usually the topics would be something for you to agree/disagree on or something that requires your opinion. Try to finish writing part 1 quickly so you have enough time to compose your thoughts for writing part 2. Avoid word repetitions (try to have a wide array of vocabulary). Your words doesn't need to be something unheard of as using such vocabs may just usually be out of context. Just try not to use the same words all the time.
I'm sure you won't find IELTS that difficult.
Good luck.
@ Haoyin...wow.. thanks for the advice! You're message was truly inspiring.. My lecturer did told me about making an outline first before preceeding to write the whole essay. I think the most difficult part in writing is the Task 1 which is the graph interpretation; hence, I'm really having a hard time trying to widen the array of the graph as to that is my weakness. By the way haoyin, what university will you be attending in Oz? Will you going to do the BP or studying for another 1 year in nursing? I'm having second thoughts whether to continue my Australian dream since we don't have any relatives in there. But I'm willing to take the risk, so I'm taking chances to lodge my application in NBV. I'll just leave it to God. Thank you again for the advice and may God Bless you as well as your family.
I will be attending in Uni of Ballarat,Melbourne campus.Australian Embassy gave me a 456 business visa valid for 1 year multiple entry.modules?what is it?Thanks a lot.

hi again, lime12!
try to check out DIAC's website www.immi.gov.au then look for and click the "finding the right australian visa" then answer the visa wizard..it's user friendly from there and after you have answered the questions, the wizard will give you tips on the right visa for you as well as the requirements and the forms for the said visa. you can then proceed from there.
good luck!!

anyway i was worried about curtin university.. becaus of 1 year course. if i will apply in curtin i will be RN late next year. but if i will apply in VCHN i will be RN this year. and the money that i will pay for the tuition fee in curtin is so expensive i might use the money to pay the agency and got my work placement and got my work visa. compare to curtin im still studying nex year but in VCHN nex year im working as RN.. what do you think? tsktsk..
