Brandman University ABSN Program

Published

Hi All,

I'm wondering if any one has heard of Brandman University. They have a new ABSN program in San Diego, CA that i'm looking into. My grades are not competitive but i want to get into my career soon.

Has anyone been to this school, and if so, how did you like it? Do you think I'll be able to land a good job as an RN if I were to apply and attend? I'm nervous, since it is a new program! Such as, what if they end up closing and the degree won't be valid ?

Thanks in advance.

I'm denied as well. Anyone plan on re applying? Or applying/applied to other schools?

CONGRATS everyone on your acceptances! !

anyone graduated and took the NCLEX yet?

how did you feel that this program got your ready to take the RN exam!

Hi All! I just applied to Fall 2020! I am really hoping to get in! Are there any nursing students that are waiting for their admissions by June 2020 as well?

Hey all, I was denied but encouraged to reapply! Good luck and CONGRATS to everyone ?

Hi, I’m sorry to hear about the news but glad they encouraged you to re apply ! You must’ve been really close! I hope you reapply as well and do not give up. If you don’t mind me asking Did they tell you why you were denied? Also, did you have most pre Reqs done? Just asking because I’m trying to figure out if my application has a chance of getting picked. I applied for fall 2020 and I’ve been hustling through so many hoops trying to get into RN school ?

Same to you!! And yes, I just now found out about this school and hopefully I get in. I’m currently an LVN and trying to get into the RN bridge programs and it’s so competitive. It’s the TEAS score that holding me back and that’s why I keep getting denied ?

Thank you! Same here, I just found out about the program!! Oh I see, wishing you the best!! Hopefully you get can get into the program!! *Crosses fingers*

OMG first off, CONGRATS! I bet that is such a huge relief. I’m so happy for you! & Thank you, I needed this! I’m never going to give up! I know what I want to be one day it just sucks that the school system is like this especially with the TEAS exam. I hope this pandemic with COVID will change this. I have pretty much all pre reqs done expect humanities and chem and stats (I have biomedical statistics taken at National Univeristy) but IDK if that counts and all sciences done with all A’s and B’s. So I pray I get accepted. I’m tired of fighting LOL

Same! I took bio stats through national as well, they let you know after you are accepted if the courses is acceptable when you sit down to make your ed. plan. I also just need the bachelor writing courses. Our grades are comparable. Keep fighting!
