Brandman University ABSN Program

Published

Hi All,

I'm wondering if any one has heard of Brandman University. They have a new ABSN program in San Diego, CA that i'm looking into. My grades are not competitive but i want to get into my career soon.

Has anyone been to this school, and if so, how did you like it? Do you think I'll be able to land a good job as an RN if I were to apply and attend? I'm nervous, since it is a new program! Such as, what if they end up closing and the degree won't be valid ?

Thanks in advance.

@Veronika I asked admissions for a status on my application ?

@hukares LOL sneaky I like your style? I’m sorry it was bad news.

@KyleMG hey, I had pre-reqs and a bachelors. I'm currently taking developmental psych and that's the last pre-req before I start nursing core in January 2021.

@hukares did they tell you why you were denied?

@cbarn005 which start date did you apply for?

@KyleMG Summer, but I guess since I have all the pre-requisites done, I have to wait until January 2021 to begin the nursing core. When I meet with the educational plan coach, I will have a better understanding of my timeline.

Hello All, I submitted my intent to enroll form a little while ago. I actually applied for Spring 2020 but got pushed back to the Summer cohort. I believe we will start with online courses and in Jan 2021 will begin with clinicals.

@Love&healing thanks for sharing. Do you know how long the remainder of the program is? 16 months?

I believe 16 or 18 months. I’m not 100% sure. Can’t wait to get more clarity . ?

@Love&Healing okay thanks so much. I was thinking the same.
