I'm wondering if any one has heard of Brandman University. They have a new ABSN program in San Diego, CA that i'm looking into. My grades are not competitive but i want to get into my career soon.
Has anyone been to this school, and if so, how did you like it? Do you think I'll be able to land a good job as an RN if I were to apply and attend? I'm nervous, since it is a new program! Such as, what if they end up closing and the degree won't be valid ?
@ABSN_SD Yes to start the nursing core classes those start in 2021. I have a few more classes for the bachelor portion of the degree to finish prior to January.
Yes I have all sciences completed with a 4.0. There a few courses only they offer that they want done that I have not completed. @kathy0805 were you already accepted and taking the psych at Brandman, or somewhere else?
I suck at applying to this feed, just super busy. But, those who applied for Summer 2020, you probably won’t start January 2021 because of the pre-reqs at Brandman specifically. I’m currently completing the second required pre-req! Starting the nursing core next month ?
My overall GPA is 3.4, my nursing pre-reqs is 3.7. I have a bachelors of science from La Verne. 3 years as an 911 EMT and two years as medic. Current I work as a Lead Paramedic for a mobile SPECT and PET imaging company. We do nuclear stress test for cardiologists.
