I'm wondering if any one has heard of Brandman University. They have a new ABSN program in San Diego, CA that i'm looking into. My grades are not competitive but i want to get into my career soon.
Has anyone been to this school, and if so, how did you like it? Do you think I'll be able to land a good job as an RN if I were to apply and attend? I'm nervous, since it is a new program! Such as, what if they end up closing and the degree won't be valid ?
I have a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, 3.0, my pre-reqs for nursing I have a 3.5. I've worked as a Health educator and a medical scribe. Still patiently waiting LOL I hope to hear something this week.
My admission counselor said letters will be mailed out the 10th. Which means we wouldn’t get them until 13-17th. He did say they are asking for email acceptance but did not get back to me on that. Also he mentioned that those who finished all requirements already would possibly be asked to start at a later date which would be Fall 1.
Just got off the phone with my enrollment counselor and he said as of today the decision have been officially made. We will hear something via mail but hopefully email as well. If they decide to send something via email, it will be sent to the email we used to create our Brandman accounts not our Brandman email.
Those who are accepted with all pre-req's finished will have to complete two Brandman specific pre-req's during the Summer. Nursing core and clinicals would start Fall.
