Brandman University ABSN Program

Hi All,

I'm wondering if any one has heard of Brandman University. They have a new ABSN program in San Diego, CA that i'm looking into. My grades are not competitive but i want to get into my career soon.

Has anyone been to this school, and if so, how did you like it? Do you think I'll be able to land a good job as an RN if I were to apply and attend? I'm nervous, since it is a new program! Such as, what if they end up closing and the degree won't be valid ?

Thanks for letting us know how the this new program is going. Hope the prerequisites aren't too difficult. Hopefully, we all hear back soon so we can arrange housing/budgeting.

Hi everyone. My application is currently under review, so I am hoping for good news soon. I will keep you all updated. If I get in, I will most likely be commuting from Rancho Cucamonga. I've taken all my pre-requisite courses so I am hoping that the drive isn't too too bad.

Is anyone applying for the FALL 2020 start date? Also do you need recommendation letters to apply?

Does anyone know how the wait list works. My brother applied in October, and Brandman U stated they would put him on the "waitlist". He finished all Prereqs, does the waitlist mean he is automatically in for the next cohort? Thanks everyone.

I’m not entirely sure, they might offer him into the next cohort since they don’t make you reapply. Waitlist is still great news! CONGRATS ? did he find out via email?

yes, he found out via email shortly after he applied. They didn't ask him to reapply so I'm guessing he might be in for the next cohort, I hope!

@hukares No, not yet. I just messaged my advisor today and he said we should be hearing this week sometime.

They sent out an email to all applicants for Summer that we would know by April 10th now due to COVID
