Hello everyone - I just wanted to create a thread for those of us applying to direct entry programs in the Boston area to talk. Has anyone heard from any schools yet? Although I did not apply to Regis early decision (I am applying by the regular deadline), I know that they have likely already notified people - congrats to those who got in! I called Boston College a few days ago, and they said they are notifying people late February. I'm also applying to MGH, Northeastern and Simmons.
Good luck to everyone!
I would recommend getting an Eagle ID. I thought they issued them to everyone who applied. If you did not get one, try calling the school and seeing if you have an ID# that you didnt know about. If not they should be able to generate one easily enough. Your ID is how all your data is organized so I wouldn't try to submit documents to them without your ID# on them
I believe that someone on this forum asked if anyone applying for Pediatric NP had heard from BC. I received my decision letter via email this afternoon. It seems like they have been sending the letters out by specialty so hopefully all you other PNPs hear soon. Good luck to everyone!
NurseGradHopeful - Congratulations! I was wondering if the email you received came from a "bc.edu" address, or was it something different? I'm paranoid and keep checking my spam folder...paranoid... but mostly hoping I'll be surprised and find something in there haha.
Thanks!

HugANurse87, if you do not mind, could you share with me questions they asked you? My interview is on this Wed. Thanks a lot.
Nikki164, be patient. They probably look at the application based on the order of completion, not specialty. I submitted mine 1 week before the deadline. For some reasons, I thought that specialty will be selected after co-op (I did not attend info session, and have no clue), thus in my application i put only 'direct entry nursing' - no specialty at all.
I think MGH is looking at our applications. I received an email from admission office last Friday mentioned that they approved some courses that I asked to waive 5-year limit for prereqs. Hopefully we'll hear from them soon.
Good luck to you all!
