Hi everyone,
With the Nov 15 deadline looming close and closer, I wanted to start a topic for everyone applying. I'm just about ready to submit my application. Still obsessing over the personal statement, especially the part about personal development and being a lifelong learner, etc. Not an easy essay topic! How are everyone's applications coming?
Hey! Congrats to everyone that heard they got in! I'm still waiting to hear. Does anyone know if in previous years BC has emailed out a few notifications each day or if it happens more in a few large waves? Also, does anyone know if acceptances and rejections are emailed out at the same time?
I just got in for PMHNP!! Congrats to everyone else and best of luck to everyone still waiting!
Here are my stats, if (like me) you are a future applicant who wants to stalk the forum:
New grad, BA in Psychology, French minor
Overall GPA: 3.85
Pre-req GPA somewhere around there as well
GRE: 153 Q, 157 V, 5.0 writing
Additional experience: 2 years volunteering in psych research lab, 2 months interning at an outpatient psych clinic
Is this real?!
Congrats to those accepted, and good luck to those who are still waiting or seeking acceptance elsewhere!
My stats are:
3.8 undergrad GPA (including some nursing coursework)
Masters degree
Experience: 3 years of full-time research experience with the VA doing psych assessments and study coordination/supervision, international fellowship, a few publications and a number of conference presentations.
I forget my exact GRE scores but they were something like 91st percentile in verbal and 35th percentile in math (hah!).
s-lizzy and mzaur--is BC your first choice or are you waiting to hear from other programs? I'd love to chat with you both about your thoughts on various psych NP programs. It's going to be a hard decision.

If you haven't heard yet, you are still in the game. BC sends out letters in waves, all the way until mid-March.
