anonymous219- I was in the same situation with the ABSN or DE option and decided not to go with the ABSN option because in the end I know I want to be an NP and I really didn't want to do the entire application process again. There are some pretty great forums that you can search for that have a lot of information about the Simmons program. Sounds like a lot of people really like it. Also, looks like my decision says mailed on the online portal. Is it overnighted or just regular mail? Congrats to all who have gotten in!

I met several staff members while I was there. One of the professors gave me a nice tour. How much is the deposit if you dont mind me asking?

I'm out of state too. I've already committed to UMass Med but I went to visit UMass, Simmons, BC, and Regis when I was there and Simmons and UMass were my favorite. I think it has a great reputation and is in a really great part of the city too. Congrats!

I think they just say the end of March to be safe. I looked back in previous years and it looks like they've heard in mid-March. When was you application complete? Mine was complete Dec 27th and mine hasn't switched to mailed yet.

UMass Worcester- Graduate Entry
We're moving from Oregon. Thats funny, my fiance just got a job at the City of Somerville actually so we're not really sure where to move. I talked to people at my visit a little bit but we didn't get into too many details. I think it would be crazy to commute everyday from the city during the first year, but I hear your second and third year its more doable. I would really like to see a sample schedule to know what days we have classes and clinicals before I consider where to move. We are also thinking about maybe doing split housing so we have an apartment in Somerville then I get a roommate in Worcester and come home to Boston for the weekends. Not sure. Any chance you'll commute?
