I bought the study guide, and I studied a lot since math isn't my strongest subject, and it really helped prepare me for the test. The science section had a lot of questions that I didn't remember from earth science classes, I would definitely recommend reviewing basic science information before going into the test. Good Luck :)

Thanks you and good luck to you also. Was the english part fairly easy?

They told me that there is a committee hearing next week and people that have completed folders will be reviewed, I hope my folder is complete . . . LOL. I don't know what that means as far as finding out we are accepted, but I hope its a step in the right direction . . .

I thought the english part was very easy, I guess since its something we use everyday haha. I doubt the english part with give you any trouble. Just remember for the reading/comprehension section to focus while you're reading, since it is timed, it'll take a good deal of your time away if you have to keep re-reading the paragraphs.

GOOD LUCK!!

Okay, that's helpful. I purchased the TEAS book also and have been working in that. I'm also taking an online Algebra class.

Great! i'm sure that taking that class now will help since a lot of the information will be fresh in your mind. Good luck on the test!

Thanks I appreciate it.

Hi everyone! Just wanted to update...I took the Teas and only scored 58% on the math. I did okay on everything else. I did not buy the study guide before I tested! I thought just having the basic classes would be enough!!! Well, not for me!!! I am not going to get down about it though!!! I am rescheduled to take it on May 29th. I have the study guide and I am studying my #$%^ off!! I ran out of time...that was my issue. I spoke with them today and they said not to worry at all...they still have plenty of room. Anyways...everyone keep updating!!! Good luck to all!!!

I'm sorry to hear that. Don't give up you can do it. I purchased the book and I'm currently taking an online Algebra class that I need to complete my application so I hope all goes well. Do you have to get a 60% on each section or just on the overall test. I take my test on May 19th.

You have to have a 60. I just took algerbra too. I knew how to do the problems, I just ran out of time. Its frustrating but I am determined! Good luck. I rescheduled it for May 28. I was soooo close. I wanna do better than 60 though. I will be more prepared this time.

Hey!

I am going to apply for the school of nursing for Fall 2009-since the deadline has been extended to June 1st. I am only 18, but I am very excited to, hopefully, become an RN. I'm going to try and get everything turned in ASAP. I am scheduled to take the TEAS test May 19th. I am really glad that they are still looking for qualified applicants because I have a letter grade of "C" in biology, chemistry, and algebra. My high school cumulative GPA is also a 2.56.

I really hope that I am granted acceptance.
