To answer your questions, they don't allow test takers to use calculators on the test, but the questions on there aren't so bad that you really need it. The math was pretty time consuming, i didn't think it was necessarily hard, but be careful not to spend too much time on one question because that will really hurt you if you run out of time. The science section was really broad, and i think probably reviewing the teas manual will help you get a better understanding of the types of questions on the test. The english and reading sections were pretty easy i thought. Hope that helps!

It does help me a lot. I have the TEAS manual and I've focused alot on the math and I'm currently taking an online Alg class. I'm worried about the science sections such as the body systems and what they do, is this what I really need to be studying for the test?

I made LOTS of flashcards, and one group of cards i made was all of the body systems and their purpose, and how they worked together. I don't have my teas manual with me right now, but the information i used to make my flashcards on the body system was i believe toward the middle of the science section. I would review the body systems and have a brief understanding of how they work together, but my test didn't have many questions on that subject. Each test is different though, so it definitely couldn't hurt. My best advice is to pace yourself on the test, but keep focused because I'm a decently quick test taker, and i came very close to running out of time on a couple of the sections. Good luck, if you work with that manual you should do well!

Thanks for the pointers, I will make some this weekend.

I am scheduled to take my TEAS test on the 19th.I am a young mother and I don't have enough money to pay the application fee, pay for the TEAS test, AND pay for thge manual. I am afraid that I may not do well :/

I just submitted my online application!! :yeah:

I just need to send them my $50 application fee, get one more recommendation, obtain my SAT results, get a copy of my social security card & take my TEAS test (which I'm scheduled to take on Tuesday :) )

I sure do hope that I'm accepted. I want to become a Registered Nurse so bad.

I'm only 18. So, if I'm accepted into this program, I will be a 21 year old nurse when I'm an RN. Isn't that awesome?

How much is the TEAS test, I thought it was Free

It actually costs 30 dollars due on the day that you take the test.

Are you serious? I wonder why they never told me this information. I done spent $40 on the book, then we got to do $50 for application and $30 for the test. WOW
