I turned in my application today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Omg...I am so scared. I know its early in the game but anyone else applying for fall Bon Secours for 09? I have been doing non nursing classes for 3 semesters and finally I am ready to apply. I wanted to go into NS with only nursing classes! Now the waiting game!!!!! I cant belive I am at this point allready. It felt like forever! Now if NS goes by this fast (if I get in).
"The professor I had for intro to psych was VERY good! He, also, makes his classes interesting. I actually took his class back in 2001 (i took a hiatus from school for a while...unfortunately) but a friend of mine just took him recently and said the same about his class, she loved it as well.
Right now, I am taking Ethics and Dev Psych (both online). The only non-nursing classes I have left are Microbiology, Eng 112 and the math elective. I read on the J Sarg website today that in order to get into Microbiology, you have to have 1 yr of biology (which I have) and 1 yr of Chem (which I don't have!!) - did you know that? If that's really the case, I guess I need to take Chem 111 and 112 as well."
DON'T TAKE CHEM 111/112!!!! Bon Secours students are exempt from this Microbiology pre-req requirement through JSarge - we are batched together for class in an agreement between Bon Secours & J Sarge. You can call Bon Secours and ask to speak to any advisor to verify this info. (Unless you particularly enjoy Chemistry or perhaps need this for a future Bachelor's program.)
Just saving you a few pennies and a few semesters!!
I'm thinking of applying for the fall. I'm going to attend the info session on April 29 and see what I think. I've been debating to do the nursing part at J. Sarge or Bon Secours. I'm not sure if I can get everything I need for the June 1 application deadline though, but I think I might try.
