No not yet, I am getting ready to turn in the application, but they told me that there were plenty of slots, so not to worry about NOT getting in. Of course that doesn't mean anything but it sounds good, lol. I will keep everyone posted if I hear more.

Hello,

Unfortunately I am not going to be able to apply for the Fall 09 school year because I do not have $650.00 to put down to take 2 classes I need in order to apply. BUT I am taking the classes at a local college and will be done to apply for the next opening. I will see you all there very soon!

Thanks,

Matt Wiliams

Hey Helen,

Just wondering if you turned in your app? Have you heard anything?

Susan

I have intentions of applying to Bon Secours Nursing School for Fall 2009. Have the two of you been accepted already? I am really excited about doing this, I am going to absorb some information Feb 24 when they have the open house. I looked at RSHT a little, and just want to do a little comparing. I will definitely be taking a loan, that's for certain. I'm excited!

I have not been accepted yet. I have turned in everything and I am taking the Teas on March 24th. I dont think they accept anyone until after the May,1st deadline. However, it would be nice if they did on a first come firsrt serve basis.

Anyone else applying?

Hi Helen,

I am in my first semester at BSMSON and there wasn't a waiting list when I applied. That doesn't mean it's easy acceptance, it means that they don't carry over their applicants. Not sure who told you that there are plenty of slots an not to worry. There are a lot of slots but their are a lot more applicants than slots. It's extremely competitive and I think they consider everything about your application!! Good luck to you!

Sorry to break up the fun, but I too am applying for Fall 09!!! I am SO nervous. I haven't been in school for so long and after being pregnant I feel like an air head :) I'm going the information meeting Wednesday. Have either of you taken the TEAS now? I am desperately looking for the study manual.....im going to need all the help I can get! Good luck to you both and I hope to see you in class :)

I am applying a Bon Secours for the Fall 2009 semester. :nurse:

I have not yet turned in my application though - I really need to get the ball rolling! I need to take the TEAS as well. How do you sign up to take this? And is there a study guide for this?

I am so nervous about applying! I think I'm also going to apply for John Tyler's program just so that I'm not left hanging if I don't get into Bon Secours.

Welcome all! I am glad there are more people to wait it out with. I am sched for the TEAS 4/18. The website says they will notify us within 60 days of completed application including the Teas. I spoke with someone on the phone and she tol me the application deadline had been extended until June1 now. When I ask her why, she said it's usually because the application pool does not contain enough qualified applicants. For those of us who are qualified this is good news...so I am thinking ...lol. Anyone else have any imput, corrections, or comments feel free to post.

Thanks Susan
