Blogging through pre reqs/nursing school?

Published

So I'm wondering if anyone else had the same idea as me and decided to start a blog about their journey through the pre reqs and/or through nursing school? I'll be starting my second semester of pre reqs this fall and I started a blog because I thought it might help relieve stress or be a place I can vent and rant about things or give tips even, when I learn something. Ive always loved writing so i'm just wondering if there are any other student bloggers out there and if so, does it help/make a difference for you?

Looking forward to reading everyone's posts!

However... keep HIPAA in mind at all times. And don't post specific teacher's names, or hints as to where you go to school. Teachers read this stuff too, you know.

Hi there,

I actually am finishing up my last pre-req before I start my accelerated bachelor's program in January! I started a blog as well I too love to write, share m experience and obviously help others so I thought it's be a great way to review material and relieve stress all in one!

Reading nursing student blogs gave me a lot of confidence and interest, and is one of the reasons I eventually decided to keep going in this direction. I don't know that I will keep a blog (probably a journal, though!), but I think that if you are so inclined, it is a great gift to yourself and those of us who read and learn from your experiences!

I've started one…I start my program January 6th, 2014. I've had a horrid time finding anyone just starting out and it's impossible to find someone from my program.

Happy blogging!

I'd like to read it, I'd follow it! If you want to message me the link for it.

I had the same idea, but I am not at all into/good at writing. But very tempted to try.

I'm thinking of starting one also.

I blog and I'm only doing pre-reqs, it's not private or anything... it's a blog that people can read. As for venting I go to the gym; pump iron and run... or I get crazy.

I created one through wordpress a couple weeks ago but today is the first time I felt I have found something to post. I am doing pre-reqs and hope to apply next Fall and would love to blog the whole way through.

I have a Vlog. I love it so far.

wow what a good idea, im pre nursing as well at Goodwin college and will be starting my 2nd semester in Jan and never thought about doing that. im sure your blog will help a lot of future pre nursing students to see what its like and for current students to relate and/or help you through the way. that's a really great idea!
