Binghamton BAT 2021-2022

Hey everyone! Just starting a thread for this cycle's BAT/ABSN program at Binghamton that's starting next Summer 2021. I've just submitted the SUNY transfer app, but holding off on submitting the actual BAT app for a little while longer. Hoping we can use this thread to talk about the program and post questions like years prior! The deadline isn't until November so it's still way early, but having the thread ready to go doesn't hurt. I'm also applying to Buffalo and Brockport so I'll likely be active in those threads as well! ?

Got accepted early December but just wait listed at another seemingly equivalent program.  At the time of decisions, I had two prereqs left. It's a mystery to me how they decide all this.

Has anyone been accepted into both Binghamton's BAT program and SBU's accelerated program? If so, which one would you choose? My friend was accepted into both and is having difficulty deciding between the two.

Both are equally amazing and respected programs and very close in terms of cost so I guess it might come down to location and personal preference?

has anyone received an email from bing w/ important info regarding staying on the waitlist? it’s mostly just info about health requirements and etc and various deadlines for IF I get accepted off of the waitlist

Did anyone get off the waitlist yet? I spoke with admissions and they said March 1st is last day for waitlisted students to find out if they got in or not. Hope this helps.

March 1st is the first day that we might hear back about the waitlist not the last. I’ve talked to ---------------------, the admissions coordinator for the BAT program, about it and it’s in our waitlist letter and email that was sent yesterday. The last day we can expect to hear back is May 15!

It was just deadlines and stuff to be aware of like health requirements in case we get accepted! March 1 is the deadline that they gave accepted students to say whether they accept the offer or not so that’s why we most likely won’t hear back before that date. They want to count up all the available seats once the deadline has passed and select candidates from the waitlist to be taken off.

Hey everyone! I am a current BAT student in my final semester if anyone has any questions please feel free to email me at [email protected]! I will say that I was on the waitlist and was told that very few, if any, people would be accepted from the waitlist and ended up living with 2 other girls who were also accepted off the waitlist so don’t lose hope yet!
