The racist agenda of the left rears its ugly head again.

"
Americans are enthusiastic about spending money on physical infrastructure — bridges, roads, broadband. But this racist bill hands out jobs and contracts and locates projects based on race, not merit. Minority businesses and neighborhoods hold the inside track. If you’re white, you’re low-priority.
The bill includes grants to install solar or wind technologies and generate jobs in areas decimated by closing coal mines or coal-fired electric plants. Here’s the catch: When contractors bid, the bill says minority-owned businesses will get selected first. Bad news for small-time white contractors in depressed areas.
The same is true for the bill’s proposals to improve traffic patterns in cities. Contractors and subcontractors get priority only if they’re owned by minorities or women. White male business owners can take a hike.
Americans should be outraged — but not surprised. After all, President Biden’s American Rescue Plan Act, passed in March, also put into place an ugly system of discrimination against whites. It offered debt relief to black farmers, but not white farmers. Another provision offered billions in aid to minority-owned and women-owned restaurants, but told struggling restaurants owners who happened to be white men that they had to go to the back of the line."

Or possibly the recent census news has put a bee in his metaphoric bonnet.
Census data shows white population shrinking below 60 percent
I'll not respond to your taunt, Gordon Gekko, although I admit to a bit of compassion for what it must be like to live with a brain so imbued with thoughts like those expressed in your post.
I'd like to mention to other's reading that the attitude expressed above is very similar to a group I discovered on social media a few years ago. that believe there is an active "White Genocide" going on all over the world presently, which is buttressed by their core belief in white supremacy.
They are highly preoccupied with global shifts in demographics and have become increasingly alarmed by demographic data showing lower numbers of "white people", although I don't think they've identified who is supposedly behind the white genocide.
They have come complete with the racist memes, etc. and a few so-called intellectuals loosely associated with the neo-nazi group Stormfront.

Enough with the white supremacist boogeyman. It’s not backed up by evidence of any kind. It was black supremacists who just stormed the capital of Oklahoma. I don’t care about population shifts in America. We are a melting pot which makes us great. As a Hispanic who immigrated here at a young age I appreciate the opportunity this country brings.
You are diverting from the racist undertones of Biden’s infrastructure plan. Do you not agree the best man or woman for the job should be building bridges? Contracts should not be awarded based on minority status. People with proven track records and credentials need to be awarded contracts. I don’t understands why this is a controversial thought. America is supposed to be about equality for all.

Nothing you post is credible.

Wrong! Both the White Genocide and Stormfront are absolutely real groups populated by real people who occasionally use their real names. Your right-wing fringe belief that white people are the real victims of discrimination is the same bottom-dwelling floor of lies and historical distortion as theirs is.

You are presenting a false premise. The false premise is "Biden's infrastructure plan has racist undertones." I don't respond to those.
The correct word would be discrimination in any case, not racism.

Show me where it says minority-owned businesses without a proven track record and insufficient credentials will be awarded contracts.
Your framing it that way probably contains a kernel of truth that could explain why minority-owned business contracts are necessary in an age where you feel the country as a whole attempting to redress past mistakes is evidence of present day racism against white people.
If only you could see it.

How would you feel if the Infrastructure bill explicitly stated it would give priority to white owned businesses?

That was essentially the practice for generations...

Evidence? Post a government document stating that white owned businesses will be given priority over minority owned businesses. I want to see it written in legislation like this one. I'll be waiting....

Does that comment mean that you don't understand the concept of practice versus policy? That's not surprising at all, frankly. Most Trumpers trying to engage in discussion generally end up revealing the fundamental ignorance that anchors their opinions. I mean, you are so poorly informed that you don't even know that there's long been a problem with white supremacy ideology and behaviors in this country. That reflects a profound ignorance of even basic American history on your part. I'm embarrassed for you.

Your statements have now veered into some odd fantasy land where American history didn't happen as it did, and there is absolutely no way we can continue this conversation.
I'm perfectly happy to have minority-owned businesses have preferences in this bill, and every other large bill to which they have been attached, which have been many, if only you took the time to research these things.
For a while, my state board of nursing included a small fee, as part of renewal to go toward scholarships for minority students to go to nursing school. I was happy to help (though it was not optional), because diversity makes for a healthier whole in just about everything.
As I'm justly proud of certain things America has done before I was born I accept the fact we have harmed African American people before I was born, and to pretend none of the repercussions still exist is to be willfully ignorant.
