Beth Israel Nursing School NYC

U.S.A. New York

Published

Hey guys, I was just wondering if anyone applied to Beth Israel NYC for this coming Fall? I applied there and I really want to get in. I always wanted to go. If anyone knows if it's hard to get in, or what score they are looking for on the NLN exam that would be rally helpful. And is it true that the only start giving interviews in May????

I just hope more PBINS '09 applicants will join this thread and share their experiences. This is a good way to have an idea about the process. Also, to know that you're not alone in going through such a nerve-racking undertaking.

Hi eilama, happy to see another PBISN applicant. have you taken the NLN exam? What program did you apply for?

TripleA, How do I find old posts about the interview for BI?

Hello future Nurses,

I'm submitting my application to PBISON tomorrow. I'm scheduled to take the NLN on March 30th. I submitted my application to LICHSON last week, but PBISON is my first choice. Did anyone have their interview? How did it go?

Hey!!!I didn't have my interview yet, but it's next week and I'm so so soooo nervous. How's studying going?

I originally applied for 2-yr ATOP, but things didn't work the way I planned it to be. So I sent an email to PBISN to update my application for 2 yr traditional. I'm glad the staff at BI are pretty prompt in responding to inquiries. I'll be taking the NLN by end of March.

Yeah they are good with helping us out. Well good lick with your studying.... and I'm just giving you a heads up, when I took the NLN it was MUCH MUCH harder than the studying book I had, and the science was mainly chemistry. So make sure you know chem!!!!!

The link below might be of help to you. It was a discussion RE: interview

Thanx!!!!! That post had such a happy ending and they al ended up getting in. I hope we're like that!!!!:D

^^ glad you found the thread, isn't it inspiring?

I could benefit from more study time. I'm familiar with most of the science and a majority of the math. I need to pay special attention to the Physics and Chemistry. I really enjoyed the PBISON thread. I hope we're a lucky group of threaders. Everyone was excepted.

Hi Shana J!

If you don't mind my asking, what is your NLN score, composite and percentile? Thanks

It's no problem. I didn't even do so well, so I was very excited when I got a call for an interview. My composite score was a 126 and the 2 percentiles that counted (ad and all) were 87 and 89.
