Beth Israel Nursing School NYC

Hey guys, I was just wondering if anyone applied to Beth Israel NYC for this coming Fall? I applied there and I really want to get in. I always wanted to go. If anyone knows if it's hard to get in, or what score they are looking for on the NLN exam that would be rally helpful. And is it true that the only start giving interviews in May????

I know what you mean!!! I called twice this week only to be told the same thing, result wont be in until middle of next week.

Hey Shana, I received my NLN results yesterday in the mail, as I suspected I did not do well at all. I bombed the science portion, as I knew I would since the whole section composed of chemistry and physics, which I was not prepared for. Well, only time will tell.

Hey....Sorry to hear that. I am not home this week and no will be home until later today. I am soooo nervous!!!!!! But maybe BI knows that this exam was soo hard that they'll lower their standards, I hope so!!!!! I'll keep you posted about my results. Don't let it get to you I am sure plenty of people did not do so well.

Hey, I got my scores, but I am a little confused because there are three different overall percentiles. Which one is for beth Israel?? And what is a good composite score??

On the upper left you will find the composite score, which from what I understand needs to be be atleast 125 and up to be considered. the percentile score that BI is looking at is the one under AD and ALL. Atleast, that is what I understand. Maybe other applicants will provide additional info.

Oh, this is so confusing. Do you know how long it takes to get notice if you get an interview?? It's like 2 weeks right?

I am well, thanks. I spoke with ** **** @ who said interviews are being schedule, but did not say whether or not I am in the running. She did say for me to remain hopeful since the last exam is in april, so we'll see. I guess an NLN score of 148 is not as impressive as I thought ,lol. The waiting is a killer.

Yes, but that is not that great , from what I was told when I called the school, the applicants that have taken the exam thus far, have scored fairly higher than last year. I just wish the exam didn't have so much weight on acceptance.

I know.... I didn't do as well as you and I thought my score was ok, lol, I just got very nervous now!!!! So did you end up applying to LICHSON?? I didn't
