Beth Israel Nursing School NYC

U.S.A. New York

Hey guys, I was just wondering if anyone applied to Beth Israel NYC for this coming Fall? I applied there and I really want to get in. I always wanted to go. If anyone knows if it's hard to get in, or what score they are looking for on the NLN exam that would be rally helpful. And is it true that the only start giving interviews in May????

That is GREAT NEWS :yeah::yeah::yeah:. when is the interview?

So *** ***** wanted it tomorrow morning, but I am in Israel now and I'm coming back next week so she said she'll call me on monday and tell me when to come!!!!!!!!!!

that gives you time to look at old threads about the kinds of questions they ask on the interview. Which program are you applying to?

Yeah I'm going to check those threads. I'm applying to the three year part time program. Your applying for the evening right?

yes, I applied to the ATOP progam, which I believe is a combo of evenings and saturday.

Sounds good. Now I'm sooo nervous for the interview. Do you know if they give interviews to a lot of people, or only to like those who they want to accept?

from what I was told by other students and from the posts her, I believe applicants who are interviewed are a shoe in, the interview is to get to know the person behind that application and scores. The point is to assure them that you are the right candidate for the school. Dress as you would for an interview, project a friendly, eager to learn attitude and you should be fine. Also, make sure you remember what you wrote in your essay, since they may ask you questions pertaining to it.

Thank you so much!!!!! Your're so sweet for the advice. I'm going to look through my closet because I have no idea what to wear. I have a friend who is in BI so I going to ask her about her interview. As soon as I find out I'll tell you. Also I wanna know when you get your call, I know you're going to get one because you did much better then me. :yeah:

Your Welcome!!! keep me posted as I will do the same.

HI there! Good to find this site especially this particular thread. Congratulation Shana J. for getting the interview and goodluck. Triple A, goodluck to you too, and I hope you'll hear from PBINS soon.

I just hope more PBINS '09 applicants will join this thread and share their experiences. This is a good way to have an idea about the process. Also, to know that you're not alone in going through such a nerve-racking undertaking.

Hey Eliama27! Glad you joined us. So which program did you apply to?
