Best x-mas gift from your Manager

Ideas (reasonable) for my employees please?

How about a pen on a rope? It's something everyone could use.

How many employees are we talking about?

What about a holiday party tray of yummy food to eat? My boss has bought yummy coffee beans (for our break room coffee pot) for us too. Since it's so hard to take a real break, food always seems to be appreciated. It goes fast in our break room anyway.

If doing the food tray, be sure to have separate trays for day and night shifts (and evenings, too, if 8 hr shifts). Trust me, you wouldn't believe how grateful night shift workers are for this consideration, and how often it's never thought of. Or maybe instead of grateful, just how p.o.'d they are when all the holiday goodies/gifts are gone long before they get there.

Ditto. A fed nurse is a happy nurse:D

I am giving myself a gift of the book From Scilence to Voice I think it is a book every nurse should have. Very inexpensive as books go.

A name badge holder (the pin type) would be appreciated by me because mine wear out.

a former manager gave us all paper bags filled with goodies, like popcorn, hot cocoa packets, candy, pencil, ruler, red ink pen, etc. There was a personal note inside (and they were all different!) We found them in our mailboxes, which was fun. Everything was functional or disposable.

Best gift I ever got was from a Doc, but it was good. There was a coffee stand in the lobby of the hospital (one of those fancy ones) and we all got a gift certificate fot $5, enough for a cup of coffee and a pastry. Yummy!!!

You are a great person to think of your employees. WE have many fewer and ours does nothing....the night shift forgot what she looks like...lol. The only time we see her is during her mandatory staff meetings

BRAVO to you for caring

I like the paper sack idea...gives em something to take home. You can FILL These from your local dollar store pretty reasonably, you know. Good luck!
