Hi there!
I am sure there are questions like this... I am sorry... I could not find them.
I have been preparing for the NCLEX exam for a couple of weeks now.
I took the Saunders test (score about 80% - 90%) and similar range on the Kaplan.
But that had only 300 or so questions... and its from 06-07 so.. its old...
What is the best way to know if I am ready for the exam? I looked at the ATT Virtual thing.. but its like 400+ dollars... I really cant afford that... $200 for the exam is already much for me...
So please please please... can you please tell me whats the best way to see if I am ready for the NCLEX-RN? I can spent upto $50 i guess... but no more...
Thanks SOOOO much!
... anybody please?? I really need your help.. what will help me check if im ready for the NCLEX eam?

The reason that no one has responded it that there is no way for any outside source to determine if you are ready for the exam, or not.
This is only something that you can do, and you know how much time that you have put into preparing.
Best of luck to you when you decide to test.

You are never fully going to feel prepared to take it, because you can't know everything about everything, but she is right only you can decide, keep in mind the sooner you test the better statistically speaking

i think if your scoring 80-90% on kaplan you're ready. well i think for kaplan, passing is 65 and above.
everyone's right, there's no way you can ever be fully prepared because there will be things on the test that you have probably never seen or heard of before (not to scare you or anything). Just relax, don't stress, and take your time. =)
all i did to prepare for nclex was 100 questions a day from Saunders. I didn't read through any book, just 100 questions. and i just recently found out i passed at 75.
good luck to you. i'm sure you'll do fine. =)

I agree with everyone else but it doesnt matter what everyone else says, its what you think. if you think you are ready then go for it and have confidentce in yourself! just remember.. you are meant to be a nurse!
