Best Underwear to wear under scrubs??

Am I the only one having problems finding a pair of underwear that does not show when I bend over a patient or ones that don't leave a major panty line?

What kinds of panties work with scrubs?

I used to wear Luv pats under my white scrubs because they showed no lines. but one day I didn't have my lab coat on and a female resident, who was hard of hearing and spoke very loudly, told the lady next to her (and everyone on the floor) "Did you see that blonde nurse? She's not wearing any panties! I looked and didn't see any lines!" I was rather embarassed, and got harrassed by my co-workers about it for months! I started wearing the granny panties after that:imbar

Same lady had a wonderful name for her ummm HO-HA... she called it "possible". I was bathing her one day and she said, "you can wash down as far as possible, and you can wash up as far as possible, but I'll wash possible" :))

The latest rumor around my hospital is that they are going to enforce a dress code, the pants being white. So, some of us who are dead-set against wearing white pants decided we're only going to wear black, red, or hot pink lacy thongs under them. :chuckle

In all seriousness (well, as serious as one can be when discussing undergarments with near strangers), I wear whatever is comfy. Usually, "granny panties."

I can't believe there's a 7 page discussion on this. I just wear cotton nude colored panties. I like Victorias Secret signature cotton line...as they cover well..and stay put. (no riding up) I only buy thick white pants..and rarely wear them...or colored pants. I don't care if the line shows...fine..they know I have some on.

I would NOT go commando. Not at work..yuck...and why would you want to? Do you want your 80 year old male pt commenting on your lack of underwear? I don't.

I want to know why it is so bad to have panty lines; I want people to know I wear underwear, not to think I don't.:uhoh21: Having underwear on is a good thing! To me, it is like not wearing a bra! It's a modesty thing with me.

Banana Republic has microfiber panties that do NOT have seams in the crotch. The only seams are on the sides, and they feel like nothing.

The kicker: They must be laundered in a lingerie bag and not put in the dryer, or they will ruin.

Regular cotton panties for me. Bikini style from Victoria's Secret. I've never worried about having a panty line. Now I'll look. I really don't care, though : )

As long as you are not wearing tight or white scrub pants, wear whatever you want.

I wear my scrub pants so loosely nobody could even guess what kind I wear. I get cargo pants that string tie so I could lose or gain 50 lbs and it wouldn't make a difference!

The skin tone will blend in under white scrub pants. Please, please don't do as a co-worker of mine does, and wear red or magenta panties under white pants :trout:

After reading this, I'm going to have to try the boyshorts style, although I'm a little frightened of what my 42-year-old a$$ and thighs are going to look like in them. At my job, we actually have underwear restrictions, but so far, nobody in management has dared to do a "panty check." Can you get the boyshorts in 100% cotton?
