the best state

hello,

im planning to migrate to australia to work as a RN , i don't actually know which is the best state to work ,can anyone give some pro en cons of a place like nsw i have that idea but i will be gland to hear from you chaps down there in every state how nursing is especially to a new guy like me , :balloons:

We have a lot more male Rn's than we used to have - getting up near 40-50%!!!

Newcastle Uni (in NSW) has a Masters of Medical Science - Clinical Epidemiology by distance education; otherwise all the epidemiology courses are onsite, with none available in Queensland at this time (Grad Dip Medicine/Science amd Master of Medicine/Science - Medicine - Clinical Epidemiology at the University of Sydney, Master of Clinical Epidemiology - Monash University).

I found this out by searching at http://www.goodguides.com.au, an excellent site which allows you to seach for every course available in Australia. I'm adding it and the details to the Australian sticky as soon as I post this - can't think why I didn't do it earlier, as I've used the site for a couple of years!

PS After I logged off after posting last time, about how it hadn't rained in Melbourne for two days, I discovered my garden well watered by a spring storm I hadn't even noticed!

If you [/b][/i]really want to come to live in absolutely THE BEST, MOST LIVEABLE place in Australia... then come to BEAUTIFUL, AFFORDABLE, SOUTH AUSTRALIA!

Not as big, bawdy, busy, expensive, overpopulated, as the larger Aussie cities, but has ALL the attributes! Plus some! Oh, and some of us residents are a tad biased! LOL

I sent the registration form , my trascripts and my certs to NSW reg board , i will first settle, there , then make sure that i come , to SA,>>>> theBEAUTIFUL, AFFORDABLE, SOUTH AUSTRALIA!, to crown it all Not as big, bawdy , it makes me feel that it's the kind of place that i may settle , to be honest with my self,

Tomorrow im having an appointment with chief nurse officer, at our nursing council of kenya , to arrage how they will be sending a letter to NSW,

what about other states i know ther good hospital, :confused:

But how can anyone go past Queensland - beautiful one day perfect the next. Warm golden sands blue waters - THE GREAT BARRIER REEF!!! Tropical rainforests, breathtaking scenery and just one of the best places on Earth!!!:D
