About to start my final semester and was thinking of paying for UWorld to get serious about NCLEX studying. I am looking for something I can use on my iPad as I don't really like paper anything. Audiobooks would work too as I drive 45 minutes in every day.
Anyone have thoughts on UWorld or prefer something else?

I honestly would wait to get UWorld. It will be more valuable to you once you graduate. I did the 60 day subscription (really only needed 30 days but I wanted the 2 assessments which do not come with the 30 day sub) as soon as I graduated and it was all I used to study for the NCLEX (passed first attempt) If you get it too soon before you learn all the content, it may not be as helpful to you for NCLEX. I found Uworld to be a really great resource.
If you have a long drive and hopefully an unlimited data plan on your phone, I would try Sarah at registerednursern.com on youtube. You would be able to listen to her lectures while you drive as a review.
Good Luck!

Essentially what Cindyel said!
I'm currently using uWorld and it is an amazing LEARNING/REVIEWING tool. They have very in-depth rationales that are great for learning information. It is best to purchase it closer towards graduation, as there is an expiration date for the assessments and the Qbank. I emphasized uWorld as a "learning" tool rather than a basis on how well you'll perform on the exam because many are discouraged by the very low scores (ranging around 50% - 60%) that they receive after answering questions. Please refer to this video to help understand why its best to see it as a learning tool rather than an "Assessment." Additionally, others have stated that uWorld is more challenging than the NCLEX, so by reviewing questions, understanding rationales, and remembering the information, you may be better prepared for the exam. Therefore, if you plan on purchasing uWorld, please do focus on the information to be retained.
Hope this helps! ?
Thanks guys that saves me some money then for now!
I have listened to registerednursern here and there - thanks for the reminder her videos are usually long enough to listen to on the drive.

Saunders all the way. I'm sure you got a Saunders book with your tuition, activate the online code. Use that software. I did the entire test bank. When I was done I did 80% of uworld test bank. I did about 1000 questions with passpoint. NCLEX mastery every-day about 100. I passed my NCLEX-PN in like 30 minutes and my NCLEX-RN in around 45 minutes using similar study strategies listed above.
I also bought ATI and HESI preparation software's and did those intensively. Saunders is suffice though ?. You can do it!

Try Matus Nursing Review Online NCLEX Academy. The lecture videos of Mr. Matus are awesome and affordable too. I knew my content before I took my NCLEX! And that is the most important thing.

I used UWORLD throughout nursing school. By the time NCLEX rolled around I was confident and didn’t have to cram. It’s a good idea to get UWORLD as soon as you can because there’s a lot of content to review. I recommend studying by content area at first. Good luck!

Honestly uWorld is worth the $$. As others have said, you still have time and it might be a little early to shell out the money... I'd say three weeks before exam day and you'll be fine.
Alternatively, if you're itching to get a bit of studying out of the way look up a daily nclex question service. Should get you in the right mindset and you'll start to recognize the types of questions you'll encounter.
