update 1:

on june 6 dos ammended their june visabulletin by adding a new category for nurses (schedule - a) and making it as 'current'. that means, all wait is over for nurses now and gates are re-opened officially on june 6th.

as the regular readers of allnurses.com know, this thread can be connsidered as the continuation of the thread "worst news for rns from india, phili..." (click here to view that thread : https://allnurses.com/forums/showthread.php?t=87149). worst news thread was started when darkness and gloom hit intl. nurse community when dos announced (dec 11 2004) the retrogression for nurse immigration from these 3 countries.

get very irritated when they see too many flags.

The right way to address any issue is thru the attorney who has filed your case....we write letter and talk on the phone with utmost respect and courtesy as the people at NVC & Immigration can be very ruthless at

times.

Hi Suzane and my dear friends,

This is to inform a strange experience what i got from NVC. As I have informed u before, when i called them a month back they said they haven't received my husbands Biographic form and fees yet and mine everything is ready. When i called up last friday they said the fees is paid but they haven't received the Biographic form of ME and MY HUSBAND. It is very strange and I asked her specifically again and again.

Now here come the next,,, the reply i got from my agency regarding this..

To quote examples: one of our nurse's case was delayed for 8 months as she

started calling NVC periodically last year. Just recently, one of our nurse from Dubai called NVC couple of times to enquire about her case and finally she was told by the officer that they will see that her case is not scheduled for a consulate interview.

Your agency is hiding somehing from you! It's crystal clear that your agency does not want you to inquire with NVC because you may find out the truth. Basing on my experience, I have made several phone calls and send a number of emails to NVC but I did not experience this, and it its unbelievable that your agency will tell you something like "as when ever they retrieve your records to answer your query they put a flag and the officers get very irritated when they see too many flags". :angryfire TOTALLY UNBELIEVABLE! In fact my agency was the one who gave my case number so I can check the status of my case and NEVER did my agency suggested NOT to call NVC.

I am sorry to hear this, but there is really something fishy with your agency and I hope you can still have a work around on this.

Customer service centers, their purpose are to entertain calls and to SERVE, PROVIDE INFORMATION so that you can anticipate and prepare. I send e-mail inquiries every two days to NVC and i did not experience this. I call them every week and there is no problem. WE ARE NVC's customers...the applicants/ future immigrants are the life and blood of NVC without us paying the fees their operations would cease. NEVER IN ALL THE FORUMS THAT I HAVE SEEN SUCH A REPLY AND EXPERIENCE JUST BECAUSE YOU CALLED THEM THEY WILL MAKE SURE THAT YOU NEVER FLY TO U.S.? This is very personal...if that was the case of one of their nurses and ask them to provide me their USCIS Receipt or NVC Case Numbers... I will send them to the senators I know so they can make an inquiry to the NVC if this is true. AS LONG AS YOU HAVE ALL THE REQUIREMTNS I AM SURE THAT THERE WILL BE NO PROBLEM. I hope the applicant's name is not OSAMA Bin Laden?:rotfl: All CALLS ARE BEING MONITORED. If in any way that NVC people were rude you can file a complain to the NVC Director.

How can they be irritated on their jobs? Their purpose are to retrieve records so the applicants can track any developments...

Dale is there any chance that NVC can miss the form or not updated in the system.?? The reason is we had sent the DS230 PartI last september 2004.

What could be wrong??? But whatz the point of Agency delaying things.. The fast they finish the fast they get their money... I am confused

Nimihsa,

Yes NVC is very slow in updating their computer systems. There is usually some delays along the way.

I think your agency is not delaying things. THEY DO NOT WANT TO SPEND MONEY ON YOUR FAMILY so that triggers the delay! Believe me or not...your future employer has already paid (partial or full) your agency! So they already have the money.

The best thing to do is to monitor the progress of your papers through NVC...make sure that everything is flowing smooth. The best source of info is of course the NVC. If you are in doubt you can request the customer representative to transfer you to his/her superior for more accurate information. Just be respectful and polite to the NVC people and everything will be ok.

Today I have recived a mail from the attorney saying that they will be filing my DS-230 by the end of september and it will take 4 to 8 weeks after that. So maybe on December... So all I need is patience.

Regarding the visa fees of my husband now it is updated in the NVC system. All the fees are paid and only waiting for DS-230. Atorney has forwarded the correspondence he had with NVC and they were not lying it was paid on Jan and was not got updated...

Ok due to insistent public demand... I will be writing the stages after the I-140 approval. Take note...THIS IS ONLY I-140 GOING FOR CONSULAR PROCESSING!!! Hope I will answer your question Nurse Dependent....Sorry for the late response I was out of town for work and pleasure...

1. Ok after I-140 approval USCIS forwards the approved petition to the NVC.

2. NVC "SHOULD" receive your approve I-140.

3. NVC Case will be created.

4. NVC issues DS-3032 CHOICE OF ADDRESS AND AGENT FORM

5. You receive your DS-3032 and fill it up

6. You sent it back to your lawyer/ to NVC

7. Your DS-3032 arrives at NVC

8. NVC enters DS-3032 data

9. NVC issue VISA FEE RECEIPT

10. You receive the Visa Fee Bill Receipt

11. You PAY and send the bill to St. Louis

12. Fee arrives at St. Louis

13. Check encashed by St. Louis

14. St. Louis notifies NVC that you are paid

15. NVC creates your PACKET 3(yehey!!!) BIOGRAPHIC DATA ALSO KNOWN AS DS-230 FORM

16. NVC sends your P3

17. P3 received from NVC

18. P3 mailed to NVC

19. NVC received P3

20. NVC reviews P3

21. NVC sent case to Consulate

22. P3 entered by consulate

23. Packet 4 received from consulate

Packet 4 contains medical appointments, interview appointments, photo requirements or BIOMETRICS

Hope you know the difference between packet 3 and packet 4...

24. Interview Date

25. Approves Visa

26. Fly to U.S. >>>Port of Entry

27. PLASTIC GREEN CARD RECEIVED....
