Hi everyone I am an RN and am new to TX. I got a job offer from Baylor.Medical is over & done with ; i have been cleared medically.The problem is with background check.Groupone is doing it.It has been 3 weeks now and every time I call HR they tell me its still pending.Now I did my nursing school in India and HR tells me the education part is pending & it has been so for the past 3 weeks.Any ideas / suggestions?Any similar experiences???I would appreciate a reply:confused:

Thanx a lot Suzanne!! Can you clear a doubt for me?? What do RN I RN II and RN III mean?? Is it a classification based on seniority or is it something else?? In any case which level stands first?? In 2003 when I had signed my work agreement it read that I will work as RN II but last week I got the appoinment letter from my employer which states that I will work as RN I. Is there something amiss?? Please clear this doubt.:uhoh21: I am awaiting your reply. Regret if I am causing inconvenience. Nimisha what did your agency say??Any positive reply?? Bye!:)

:) Hi all my friends!I am back now after witnessing a big calamity. To be precise the floods in Mumbai. Was a victim myself though not to a very great extent. But from what I saw and fought against all these days has made me realise onething 'Man and his discoveries r too small in front of Nature/God's Ire." Ever since the 25th of July I and my son and thousands like us were living in inhumane conditions - No water No electricity No phone lines/internet No basic commodities like milk food etc. All around was just destruction.The rain gods had wrecked havoc and all around me I could see corpses floating in the flood waters carcasses of animals stinking and helplessness of mankind. As soon as things started getting normal and phone lines were repaired I logged on to my PC and first thing was to come here to allnurses. During these days when I was unable to do this there was a feeling of incompleteness ;such is the help this forum has always been. Sorrry to hear about Nimisha.Dont worry lets hope what ur agency says is right.perhaps their system has not been updated.I am praying for u. Kid roop have u got ur medicals fixed?? My medical is on 24rth.I hope I clear it without any hurdles. I am happy to be back.Missed u all!! :)

Hi Everyone. I have a small question here.Would appreciate if anyone who has an idea replies. Today I recieved a packet by post from US Embassy Mumbai. It has DS230 forms interview letter plus instructions.Isn't this called packet 4?? I thought this comes via our agent/attorney.Does this come directly??Any ideas/Experiences?? And my second question is: My husband is based in UAE at the moment. But he was in Oman from 94-98.Do we need to get POlice clearance from Oman?? And my attorney says he needs police clearance from India too.Is that needed?Anyone in similar state??And if I need to get Police clearance from Cochin PAssport Office will I need his original passport to apply for the same?? Any input will be appreciated. THAnks and let light prevail..)

Hi Kerovin JUst relax:) We have all gone thru a very dark phase and now there is light at the end of the tunnel. U too will see that light.Its just a matter of time. Dont u have an attorney/agency.Find out from ur attorney what this is all about. I am praying for u! Dont worry:)
