So, I just got past my application with Bergen and have submitted to my background check. I know there is nothing there that is going to come up so I wanted to ask some questions about the test. Is it the NET test? For which ever test it is what is the best way to prepare for it.
If I get into the program I was wondering if anyone knew if my credits from a pervious college would transfer over or would i have to take the classes over. I have my math, psychology, sociology, and some other classes from a 4 year college I had gone to and left for the Bergen Nursing program because my previous school didn't have. If anyone has any sort of tis or anything I'd appreciate it. Thanks!
Ashley
No u have 4 hours to take the test, u take in any order that you want...
I want to say that you probably can't go back to that question once you have submitted, but Im not too sure...
There is no break, if u need to take a break you can but your clock doesn't stop, but trust me it will not take 4 hours to take the test and you will not even remember that you have to pee... I believe I had like an hour left when I finished the test.
Start studying now and you will be fine!

Hey! Yeah we've had validations for handwashing, transfers, vital signs, gowns gloves and mask, and this week we have IV, IVPB, and Meds. We also have our first Concepts test on Wed, our first Assess test next Wed, and we took our PCME test. I'm afraid that I'm going to fail injections for something stupid. haha my teacher scares the crap out of me sometimes.
For clinical I'm in Palisades, where are you?
Assuming you are waiting on the acceptance letter, you can find out a few days in advance by checking your Major Status on WebAdvisor. With me, I was classified as a "General Studies" major. After passing the exam, this was changed to Nursing about 1wk before I actually received the letter from the Nursing Dept that I was in the program.

I only took it last saturday Oct 31, and the last day for everyone to take the exam is Nov 15. So I guess I need to check it after Nov15 to check on webadvisor.
Let's see what happens...!!!
Thank you.

Also, on the HESI, were you allowed to go back to any of the questions? or is it once you've answered a question, you have no choice than to move on? Do you manage the 4 hour time limit or every section of the test is being timed? I hope they let us take at least 1 break
