So, I just got past my application with Bergen and have submitted to my background check. I know there is nothing there that is going to come up so I wanted to ask some questions about the test. Is it the NET test? For which ever test it is what is the best way to prepare for it.
If I get into the program I was wondering if anyone knew if my credits from a pervious college would transfer over or would i have to take the classes over. I have my math, psychology, sociology, and some other classes from a 4 year college I had gone to and left for the Bergen Nursing program because my previous school didn't have. If anyone has any sort of tis or anything I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

I cant remember the test that well, but read her questions and answers very well. She told us that it is str8 forward, no tricks..but a few questions were marked wrong because of a missing comma in the answer..like when asked doing a wet to dry dressing you put on gloves and a mask for you and your patient..notice the missing comma after gloves..which would mean putting gloves and a mask on the patient( eeeehhh wrong answer )..for the most part i do remember 3/4 of us got an 80 or much better..so it wasn't that hard..don't forget what the first nurses were called..FIV
Hey, first off. There is a review book out. Although some of the sections do not help as much with the exam, it will still give you some what of an idea of what is on the exam. The exam is broken up into different sections which your letter will tell you once you get it.
Chemistry, Biology, Math, Vocabulary Anatomy....
Not all students have to take the anatomy portion just so you know..
What i can tell you is the review book def. helps with the math and english sections, AND ALSO study the vocabulary in the book b.c. some words are def chosen from it. So yeah book helps with math english and vocab... as for the other sections if you have any class notes from chem and biology def study your basics.

You go to your academic profile under "my profile", if you got into the program it will say: Assoc. in Appl. Sci., Nursing, Nursing Evening/or Day
