Hello everyone,
I have just applied to Bellevue College for Fall 2012/Winter 2013 and I just want to hear from anyone who has also applied there. What are your TEAS scores? Do you guys know when we will hear back regarding acceptance/ rejection letters? Is Bellevue College your first choice or are you guys spreading out your applications to other schools?
looks like a new text and video series is being required for the lab class.
jarvis, c. (2011) physical examination and health assessment text and physical assessment and health assessment online video series, version 2.(user guide and access). 6th ed. st. louis; mosby-elsevier inc.
here is the link to the book on the publisher's website:
i have updated the amazon wishlist with the kindle version of the text and a dvd version of the video series. http://amzn.com/w/4jpdhxhn1y6p
Actually, I believe this is just the book (correct me if I'm wrong!!!) Videos are separate on Amazon, though if you purchase as a package from the publisher's website, you can get a bit of a better price, plus they are offering free shipping. It's $144 for the package there.... (I prefer to order from Amazon when I can as I have Prime, so no shipping fees, plus much faster than most others...) :)
I'm pretty sure we have to follow the regular BC guidelines. Unless you are on fin. aid/loans; then call the fin. aid office and request a defer; that will keep you registered until the funds come in. I'd call and make sure though....here's what the website says....
Fall quarter tuition and fees are due by August 15th. After August 15th, tuition and fees are due immediately. Be aware that your registration is not complete until payment is made and your classes may be dropped by the Registration Office.
(Grace period: 7 calendar days from the first day you register for classes OR by the first day of the quarter, whichever comes first. There is no grace period once the quarter has begun.)

last year anyway, we bought them online with instructions from Jocelyn(Lab instructor). The book store marks up the price significantly, so the Lab instructor did not want us to pay more if we did not have to. Unfortunately, Financial Aid students have to go through the book store to get materials covered. Dont buy from the book store is you don't have to.
