Hi guys! I'm a registered nurse here in the Philippines who would like to work in Australia. Can anyone please tell me what are the requirements and steps on how to process my application?
Hoping for your informative response everyone! :)

Australian educated nurses curriculum heavily involves a research component. If you have read or googled anything about nursing in Australia you would have come up with the National Registration Board, AHPRA. One must also be allowed to work in another country, have you researched this?, just having a nursing registration does not give cart blanche to work here. Jobs are becoming hard to get with lots of applications. Sponsorship is now frowned upon. Due to nurses being unemployed.
Start with this website: Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency - Home then go to NMBA overseas nursing information is there.
BTW to be an Australian RN one must be an Australian citizen, you can however become a Filipino nurse with Australian nursing registration.

I am a US trained nurse with a BScN in nursing. I am a dual US/NZ citizen and I have worked in the US, Australia and New Zealand. To be direct, there is no longer a shortage of nurses in any of these three countries.
Hi! Can you please email me the complete set of requirements that I need to pass to AHPRA? I can't seem to find a website that will provide me all the information that I needed. Hoping for your response. Here's my email address [email protected]. Thank you!
