BCIT Nursing Sept 2021 Intake

Hello!

Just wanted to start a new topic for the next intake for those applying in Feb 1 2021- March 15 2021 for the Sept 2021 intake at BCIT!

Everyone on this forum has such strong applications! I’m sure if they sent out any acceptances today one of us would have gotten something! Hopefully if anyone did get in today they post on here just so we know what we’re working with

  • # of credits
  • casper
  • NCQ
  • work experience
  • GPA

@journeytonursing said that for April 2021, they allocated seats based on casper and transcripts.

and finally @v12 had an official update:

  • casper
  • post-secondary educatino and cGPA
  • work experience

So Casper results are quite important still

I think so too for this intake.  I applied last year (sept 2020) but my prerequisite ended up being expired. During the process of applying I had a phone call with my assigned admissions officer and they basically told me Casper wasn’t too important. However, I think it is definitely weighed heavier now that it’s been around for a bit. Sept 2020 intake was the first intake that required Casper

I feel like they are also making casper worth more because there is no non cog quiz for this semester

Literally same ? I'm also waiting to hear back from UBC because I'm currently on the waitlist soooo I've been super impatient

I feel like they aren’t even going to send anything today? I’m guessing Monday/ first week of June they'll start doing a lot more

It is just weird to me how only 2 people in our group got their result and no one else had! We should have had at least one person yesterday getting their result. Not sure actually!!

Maybe some people don't know about the page or don't want to post they didn't get in
