BCIT Nursing Application January 2022

Published

Hi everyone- I thought I would make this post for students applying in January 2022. Please post any information that may be comfortable. Also feel free to share the number of credits you have, grades and GPA, etc. We’re all in this together!

Hey everyone,

I also got shortlisted for the non-cognitive quiz. I have never taken it before. Does anybody have specific tips for it?

Also, is a webcam required for the non-cognitive quiz?

Thanks.

Hey everyone,

Congrats to those who got accepted already and those who are moving on to step 2! I was just wondering how the waitlist across intakes work?

Thanks and best of luck to everyone!

I received a non offer in Sept 2021. I just checked learning hub and also see the non-cognitive quiz as well. Good luck to everyone!

Did you make any changes since your last application?

There were a large amount of changes since my last application, the only thing that remained constant was my Casper score that I reused it for this intake. I worked at a vaccination clinic in March of this year for six months, this was not included in my September application but was included for this intake. This job consisted of patient observation, vaccine administration, and data entry. My amount of credits and cGPA increased with the inclusion of my last term. With the January application, I was able to include my certifications and additional related volunteer experience.  Prior to this intake, the only main positions I had included were volunteer but in this intake they were all employment positions.

Hey, did anyone do the non cognitive questionnaire yet? What were the questions like? Any tips or advice that could help would be appreciated!!

Hey! Congrats! Quick question. Did you change anything in your application in compare to Sept 2021? I got rejected again for this intake. I feel so bad and completely lost, don't know what to do.

To be honest, no. As soon as I received the non-offer I immediately resubmitted everything. I don't recall changing much on the questionnaire either.

I just did mine. They were essentially very generic job interview type of questions. I googled some examples and practiced with those.

How long did it take you to finish?

Make sure you type quick on the non cog quiz, it will most likely take you the full 90 minutes to finish.

good luck to all of you ?

Is it harder than the Casper test?

I don't think it was harder because you get to see all the questions and answer in whichever order you want
