Hi everyone- I thought I would make this post for students applying in January 2022. Please post any information that may be comfortable. Also feel free to share the number of credits you have, grades and GPA, etc. We’re all in this together!

I am applying with 53 credits only. GPA is above average and Casper is average or maybe even below average.

Experience: paid part-time healthcare experience (working with children) - around 2 months at the time of the application.

-various extensive volunteer work 

-a bit of customer service experience (ie. sales associate)

Chemistry 11 - 94%

Pre-Calc 11 - 95%

Anatomy (A)

English (B-)

Psych (A+)

2 general education courses (both A+)

I would appreciate your insight!

Someone contacted BCIT, and they said they kinda grade applications by the following.

 

1. Casper

2. CGPA + Number of Credits + if you have a Bachelors Degree

3. Health Care Work Experience. 
 

I can’t quite say how your application will do as we’re all kinda confused, but use that for reference.

Hello all, 

I just received an email tonight (2100) that I've moved on to step 2 of the application process for interview questions. My application status still says Pending Review. 

I got a non-offer for Sept2021 so this is interesting... good luck to everyone else!

Its the non-cognitive quiz, they didn't do it last intake but before covid they did it

I imagine it'll be like a regular job interview? I took a peek at a previous intake thread from 2019 and someone mentioned needing to provide specific examples for the answers. I'll probably look up generic questions and practice with those.

I didn't get an email but when I went to learning hub to work to check my libs 1007 work, I had a notification there saying welcome to step 2 of the selection process. So if you did not receive an email like me, check learning hub for any notifications!

I was so nervous that I haven't got an email as well. Afte I read your post I went to the learning hub and same with me as well.  I did get a notification at learning hub.

I went to the learning hub and I got onto step 2 as well. Thanks for telling us.

Hey! Congrats! Quick question. Did you change anything in your application in compare to Sept 2021? I got rejected again for this intake. I feel so bad and completely lost, don't know what to do.
