Just wanted to start a group for students applying for the BCIT January program!

Hey guys, I've been following along here but this is my first post. Check your application status! Mine just changed this morning to Acceptance Offered! No official email yet so I emailed the department to make sure it wasn't a mistake :)

Oh my goodness! I just got my conditional acceptance!!!!!!!! I'm so excited! Now to figure out if I can start in Jan or if I need to defer to Sept.

Hi guys, I've got accepted too. Now will contact the department to figure out if I could get a deferral..... Congrats to everyone!

My body can't stop shaking.... my status hasn't changed from pending department review... feeling hopeless.... But I'm so happy for all of you that got in you all seriously deserve it!

I was accepted! Trying not to burst into happy tears at work right now. Excited to meet everyone in January! To everyone waiting still, I hope you hear soon. It's so hard waiting.

I was freaking out in the application status area, and I opened some files and found my mandatory applicant questionnaire to be empty... :/ It must only be part of the final evaluation as I was shortlisted an no one asked me to correct the problem (I was pretty sure it was filled when I submitted it...) I submitted a new file and sent them an email, although I imagine it's too late to do anything about it at this point.

Hopefully it's like department policy to erase the personal info from questionnaires after they have been filled (probably not - here's to hoping I'm not at the very end of the hold list ^.^)

Also, Congrats to everyone who's been accepted!!! ^_^

No sorry, I should have clarified, it still says pending department review. It just makes me feel less anxious to post my issues on here haha.

... It'll only let me post every 15 minutes lol
