BCIT January 2014 Applicants

Hi guys,

I thought that now would be an appropriate time to start a new topic for the prospective BCIT nursing students for Jan 2014 (similar threads for previous intakes are also a great source of information).

Hopefully we can share tips, answer questions to the best of our ability, and communicate with each other about when status changes are released and whatnot. Now we can all play the waiting game together, haha!

What do you mean by Monday's expected date? Will they start letting people know on Monday? I just sort of assumed they would let us know exactly on Nov 1 haha

I was informed that the class will be created on Friday to be submitted for Monday. Whether or not we get letters that day, I dunno. But I know Nov 1st is the LATEST date they want everyone to know by. I got all this information just by contacting them so that's probably the best way to ease trouble minds. And I assume we all have troubled minds...

Ohh! Thanks for explaining :) Oh gosh, I don't know if I'll survive the weekend. I need it to be next week NOW!

Yeah that's what I thought, too. I'm debating whether to call them this weekend, since they'll be busy with the reviewing and I'll know by the end of the week anyway. But I'll probably call Emma just to clear up the confusion about the three credits I supposedly need. Thanks!

OMG congrats! I'm kinda losing hope now knowing that people are already getting notified. Did you get an email or did u call and find out?

Hey bookowl I am also in the exact same situation as you are. I did ask them about it and its fine they said due to the recent change they are willing to consider it even though usually they would never. And they said that as long as we finish those credits before wduate the program (should we get accepted) then its fine. I'm sadly looseing hope though since I'm not so confidence.in my writing skillings from.the questionnaire.

Don't give up hope! :) I'm not sure how rayjones06 found out so early but it looks like the rest of us will have to wait till next week!

I had a dream last night that I got accepted only to wake up and realize it.was.just.a.dream. oh my.. haha positively shaking in my boots at this point!

I definitely called. When I made the request my contact implored me to not share the privilege of calling with anyone else (little did she know I was posting on a public forum about the great corner cutting to finding out!) so I encouraged the forum not to call (I still do) and know letters will be sent out sometime this week.
