Thank you! It doesn't say anything... I faxed in my deferral last Friday as well.. I applied for student loans on the 29th of Oct but it says they have received my declaration yet. I guess I'll just have to wait it out. I emailed bcit explaining my s...

Did you get an email saying your fee deferral was approved or did you have to contact them?
  6. BCIT January 2014 Applicants

Oh. I was under the impression we don't need to register? I thought we were just going to be given a schedule?
  7. BCIT January 2014 Applicants

Yes. If you're paying by credit card, I'm assuming it'll take you to a page where you'll have to provide your credit card # etc. If you're paying through your bank (i.e. your chequing account), then you'll have to go through the steps in post#174.

You can pay through your bank online. Just add BCIT-Tuition as one of your payees and the "account number" will be your student ID (A00xxxxxx) and then pay bills as you normally would :)

Have any of you filled out the immunization form yet? What if we don't have our records? Can we just go to the clinic to get a titer test?
  10. BCIT January 2014 Applicants

For people already in the program: this might be a silly question but how much stuff do you need to bring to class/clinical? Are we expected to bring our textbooks with us? Are laptops necessary? Also, what is student parking like at BCIT?
  11. BCIT January 2014 Applicants

Yup! As soon as you "create a new application", choose "2013/2014 - for classes with start dates b/w Aug 1 2013 - July 31 2014" and then specify the school and program, it'll give you an application number that starts with 2013xxxxxx :)
  12. BCIT January 2014 Applicants

^I applied today for student loans.. On the tuition deferral application, it says you need your student loan application number and you also need to have paid the commitment fee. Technically, your student loan needs to be approved but how the departm...

I don't know what it costs exactly but the letter we got when short-listed says: "approximately $3200 (plus Upass fees of $30 per month)" and "additional Level 1 expenses are estimated to be $2000 and include: textbooks, supplies (e.g. uniforms, shoe...

So for those of us who don't have all the tuition money upfront, do we send the nursing department our student loan application #?
