BCIT APRIL 2020

As today is the first day to apply to BCIT for April 2020, I thought I'd start up a forum!

Is anyone else having trouble applying today?? I get an error message saying "No intakes are available at this time. Check your program's Entry page to find out when to apply." But today is June 1st?? :(

Did anyone apply to other schools?? Is BCIT everyone’s first choice?

Yesyes! I only finished my pre-reqs this spring. Took a while, especially biology ahah

I only applied to BCIT as well! This is also my first time applying ? Reading all the previous forums, it looks like this is the first time they fully separated the January and April intakes. Hopefully this means we will all find out sooner?

Sweet! I also read in past forums that those shortlisted in past intakes received their conditional acceptance as early as a week after the non-cognitive quiz closed??? I wonder if that will be the case still... although, those ranked below them will have longer to wait as those sent conditional acceptances have deadlines to pay tuition/accept the offer.

Ahhh all this waiting!!

I applied to Kwantlen too but I don't think I have a good chance there as I've heard the GPA will be super high again this intake ☹️BCIT is my second choice after Kwantlen just because of proximity to my house!

Good luck!! I know it’s only going to be a week tomorrow since the quiz has closed but I want to know already!! LOL

If this intake is similar to January 2020s, we should be finding out sometime this week! I’m freaking out!!

Ahhh!! I noticed that it looks like they send out conditional offers first and then the waitlist/non-offers a couple days later...?!?! So nervous!
