  1. Looks like we’ll be doing most things online (lectures, assignments, etc.) but labs will be done in person. We havent really received anything in detail yet! Hope this helps :)
  2. I imagine you’d still be on the waitlist for the same cohort. So if you were waitlisted for April 2020 you’re probably now waitlisted for Sept 2020 because there is no longer anyone starting in April.
  3. All they’ve said to us is that “options are being discussed” and they’ll let us know when they’ve figured it out. I imagine we’ll probably start online, pushing us to September would push back that intake as well & I doubt they’d want to do that.
  4. March 20th is the deadline for students to submit a criminal record check so you might hear something after that if conditionally accepted students fail to do so.
  5. You need a watch with a second hand. A silicone watch fob is recommended or you’ll need to remove your watch when you’re washing your hands. You also want to make sure if you’re wearing a watch it doesnt have any sharp edges that could scratch a patient. I know some BCIT students use an Apple watch, but I believe it’s up to individual instructors & what they feel is appropriate.
  6. It does!! My brother’s friend was told by admissions that she got in because she had taken the LIBS courses. I think it proves that you’re more serious about getting in ?
  7. I havent heard of anyone being waitlisted yet so there’s definitely a possibility of that!!
  8. Sorry to hear! I cant really remember how I wrote my answers because I didn’t save any of it but I do know that I used most of the word limit & tried to use examples related to work/school. I didnt use any healthcare related examples but just like my job & study habits. Grammar & spelling was a part of it too so i spell checked everything.
  9. BCIT April 2020! The photo is black & white
  10. i got accepted! Wooh!! Congrats to everyone else who did & i hope that those who didnt dont give up ❤️
  11. I havent heard anything yet, i’m freaking out! I wonder if they’re done sending out acceptance orrrrr??
  12. My last name is P & I haven’t heard anything yet. Not sure if they havent gotten there yet or if i’m just not getting in, haha.
  13. So they’ll probably remove whoever hasnt paid & then more people will be cond. accepted on the 31st to fill their spots! I think? Probably what they do
  14. Congrats!!! Did you get an email or was it your status updating online?? ?
  15. No if you look in past forums people tend to be notified at different times. Omg!! Mine still says pending dpt review ahhh congrats!! Im freaking out
