  1. Hi! No worries ? I understand the concerns you have. Unfortunately I won't be able to share the specifics. However, my cGPA & pre-req GPA is considered competitive (i.e., exceeding 70%). As for my extracurriculars, I have a few healthcare experience (employment & volunteer). If you have any other questions or concerns, please feel free to ask. I will try to answer them as much as I can.
  2. hihi! BCIT not only looks at grades, but also extracurriculars. They typically place more importance on (health-related) employment, then grades and finally, volunteer opportunities. Furthermore, the results on your Casper matters! (= If your cGPA is not lower than 70% then you'll still get some points! However, if it's lower, there may be a bit of disadvantage as you will be ranked in accordance to others... I do not think you should be discouraged though because grades is only a portion that influences their decision. They also look at the credits you have completed up till your application. The more credits you have, the better your chances are.
  3. Is it just me? I can't seem to find the facebook page ?
  4. Yay! I got in too ? i was so nervous since everyone said they got in but i found the bcit email at the really end ahah... I can't wait to meet all of you in April !! ❤️
  5. Congrats!! I did not get any update yet.
  6. Yesyes! I only finished my pre-reqs this spring. Took a while, especially biology ahah
  7. Hi! I only applied to BCIT ? wbu?
  8. I just finished it! (= At the end, I believe they combine everything else we've submitted but I think that if you already failed the non-cog quiz they'll give you non-offer regardless of how well you did in the other factors! If you passed, they'll most likely combine our score with the other info and rank us?...
  9. Does anyone know how many people got shortlisted? I know the email says it is the double of 64, but i've read in other forums where there were 200 applicants shortlisted. ALSO, does anyone find it weird how this year the questionnaire is max 2 hrs? In the past it was only limited to 1 hr... T_T (Lowkey freaking out here, please tolerate my nerves)
  10. I got shortlisted too!! Good luck to everyone for the non-cog quiz ?
  11. Hi Mindy! I hope you are doing fine. It is okay, you can apply again! Also, if you are worried, maybe you can look into applying for LPN at VCC. My friend is doing that! Although it may not be as ideal as your original plan, but it is a step closer to becoming a nurse. Btw did you get an email for the decision? I do not have any updates yet...
  12. Before getting accepted, the applicants are shortlisted. The notice should be near though because during the January intake, they recieved announcement ~ a month and a half after their deadline.
  13. Hmm, I am not sure tbh but i would assume ~mid to end of sept? Im just surprised theres not as many people participating in this forum since past forums had more people involved? Im kinda stressed too! But at least we finished the application. We just need to simply wait & see (:
  14. Anyone afraid of CASPer? D:
