Bayonne School of Med or Holy Name Hospital?

Hi friends,

I am applying to the nursing programs at the Bayonne school of medicine, and also Holy Name Hospital in teaneck NJ. Has anyone gone to these schools, or know anybody who did go to them? ANY info or opinions you ahve about their programs would be very helpful!!

I want to apply for Fall 2011 and am getting worried seeing people who are already accepted for that year.

Are people seriously already accepted for FALL 2011?? :eek: I was starting to look at Holy Name as a possibility.

Is the TEAS and NET the same thing? I'm kind of confused, most schools I've looked into require the TEAS including Holy Name but I keeps seeing this NET exam mentioned.

The NET is a different exam from the TEAS, but test similar subjects. Almost like the difference between the SAT and the ACT exams given in high school. Many schools I have noticed, including Holy Name I suppose, are migrating from using NET to TEAS.

I was accepted to HNH for Fall 2011. I applied for this fall but was placed on a waiting list but guaranteed a spot for 2011. I am soo excited and cannot wait to start. Has anyone started the Fall 2010 program? if so how is it so far?

hi everyone,

I am taking the TCS/2 exam for bayonne next month. All of the posts are saying there is absoultely no study guide. However, i am so nervous and was wondering if anyone can rate the exam of difficulty on a scale of 1 - 10? Is it the timed aspect of the exam that makes it tricky? or is it overall doable? any help would be great and much appreciated thanks! I really want to make it in, i saw the school and loved it

I am not really good at reading comp. part. What study guide do you reccomment? I currently have kaplan and NLN book.

Are you planning to stay at dorm? Coz if i get in then I will be staying in dorm.

HEY!!! you should send your application ASAP cuz there is already ppl on the waiting list since last year!!! the test is not only English n math, it also has Science

Hiiii ...!!!!! I can imagine how excited you are....I just finished my first semester at HNH I was on the waiting list too for 2011 but they called at the end to start this year.....it's really hard so be prepared it requires a lot of work so try to enjoy life before you start bcuz u will have no life lol :nurse: for 2 years

I called them today to find out about my Teas test, but I guess everyone's on vacation.

Could you please tell me which study guide is useful?

Where do they send you for clinical? Do you need to have a car to travel for clinicals?
