Bayonne School of Med or Holy Name Hospital?

Hi friends,

I am applying to the nursing programs at the Bayonne school of medicine, and also Holy Name Hospital in teaneck NJ. Has anyone gone to these schools, or know anybody who did go to them? ANY info or opinions you ahve about their programs would be very helpful!!

I got in!!!!! I can't believe it! I just got the letter yesterday!! I had my interview last week, and was discouraged as they told me that there were very few spots left and that they had begun waitlisting. I got the letter yesterday and was in complete shock!!!!

CherubHipster - can you let me know about the Finacial Aid stuff? The FA lady wasn't there when I interviewed, and they just gave me a bunch of forms, but if you know any tricks... I be so grateful!

hi! i'm sorry for those i didnt get to reply back.

i was on vacation.

anyways. iam getting a loan from sally mae. i think its a good investment since i would only have to pay back $300 a month.

and for those already in holy name, would you guys tell us some tips for our first year? im just really nervous that i dont know what to expect... thanks again!^^

Hey cherubhipster,

I got accepted for HNH to start in August 09 and I was wondering if you can give me some pointers on the financial aid. Also I was wondering since I start until August if there is anything extra reading or helpful things I can do since I already did my A&P 1 and 2, and Microbiology. Like should I start learning medical terms n things. I appreciate any insight from ya.

Hi ! I am really interested in Holy Name School of Nursing but unfortunately their website isn't much help with specifics. Can anyone give me some insight on steps to take to improve my acceptance rate? Also, when is the best time to apply? I want to apply for Fall 2011 and am getting worried seeing people who are already accepted for that year.

Thanks for the reply! Unfortunately I'm unable to PM you back so hopefully you will see this here. The only number I have for HNSON sends me to a recording I've called several times and can't reach a human being lol ! I was wondering if maybe there is another number I am just not aware about? Yes, unfortunately you most likely have the right number. The office lady is only there..er....occasionally. Try between the hours of 10am-3pm... but between the hours of 11am-2pm she might be at lunch. ;)
