There is no essay. As for geometry, I don't remember....I don't believe so. It would be a VERY good idea to check out the NET practice book before you take the test though...

Thank you for your reply. I already went through the NET practice book and there is no geometry, but I also have Kaplan book that has geometry and Science, I am confused though :(

Hi Im new to allnurses...I just needed some advice bc I just took the NET exam for HNH this past saturday (May 16) and I dont feel so great about it... I had no idea there was science questions...and I feel this may hurt my chance of getting in the school..anyone have any advice for do they solely base it on this exam and not really look at your grades..Please help Im a nervous wreck.

Hi hon. I am sorry that you are not feeling well about how the NET went. I do not know exactly how much they base entrance to the school on what, however I am hearing that they have begun waitlisting for entrance for Fall 2009. I'm sorry to be the bearer of that news, I couldn't decide wether I should post that or not, but I thought you might want to know. I think I would have wanted to know so that I could come up with a back up plan just in case..

Good luck!

Thank u so much for ur response. Wow the fact that have waitlisted already means they may have chosen 60 individuals already unless they decide not to attend the program. Thanks a bunch sweetie!!!

Hi. I also took the test there last Saturday (5/18) and felt like I bombed on the Science part...

I'm sad to hear that they are waitlisting already... but thank you for telling us. I do know of one person that has gotten in so far for Fall 2009 that I know cannot attend, so one waitlister should eventually get a spot...

Do u know how well the individual u know did on the test. What was her score?? I heard they are really strict about the 70 percent..one girl received an 80 on math and 69 on reading and did not get in to Hnh... My goodness...

She had an 88. Also, she told me that in her interview she was told that even though others had done better in math, she had done better than most on the science portion and that helped her be choosen.

Ok so she did pretty well...well ill just pray cross my fingers and hope there is a spot for me at HNH. You all have been so helpful with ur responses Thank you!!!

Hi everyone

I'm Erika, i'm new to allnurses and i would like to get some info about the NET exam. I have brought the NET practice book and have read and practice the questions several times, but i'm still very nervous. I have read that there is a science part on the actual NET exam and i would like to get some general info of what it consist of from those who have taken the NET. It would be greatly appreciated, and i thank everyone in advance. By the way, i have taken most of their required courses (ENG, BIO, CHEM, MICRO, PSYCH, SOC, PHIL,) from CUNY. I'm set to take the NET on 06/10, I'm extremely excited about the HNH program, thanks again!

Hey all :) Has anyone gotten their test results back from the test on May 16th yet?? I haven't gotten anything and it's killing me! They do send them in the mail, right??
