Hello Everyone!
I wanted to start this thread for those who are applying to the winter 2019 nurse residency cohort for Baylor Scott & White Health. This is so we can ask questions and help other possible future team members through the application and hiring process.
Good luck!
ReconMedic said:I was called a day after the video interview and the recruiter said that he was sending my info to the CVICU manager at BUMC. I haven't heard back sense and It's been a week since that conversation.
One of my parents was in the CVICU at BUMC, it's a phenomenal floor. I hope you get it!! ?
Hello all,
For those who may be interested, BSW has a GN Expo in Plano this Saturday. Go to their fb page to register. I will be attending that Expo.
I applied for the last cohort, but did not get an offer so this is my second time applying. In retrospect, I would not have had my license in time to begin the September cohort so I am taking it in stride. For those of you in nursing school, please apply and pay for your license and NCLEX as this is what you need in order to be fingerprinted and to do the jurisprudence exam.
I am a recent transplant from NY and found that it takes time for all that to be accomplished. I am currently waiting on my school to submit the affidavit of graduation and then I'll be able to get my ATT and sit the NCLEX.
Hears wishing us all lots of blessings in this venture.

Hello! I will be at the expo this weekend. ?
I graduate in December and plan to sit for the NCLEX as soon as I am able to after graduation. Hopefully it will be enough time for February, which it should be, the recruiters made it sound like most people are able to get theirs in before February!
Anyways, good luck in the process and God bless! ?
I applied to multiple locations around Fort Worth, las colina and Dallas ! I loved medical city Fort Worth. I think it's a safe way to go to apply everywhere.... I mean they didn't say not to ?
but I haven't heard back from them as quickly as Baylor.
Im still in nursing school in Austin through the Texas tech accelerated nursing program. I have been offered a MICU position here but I wanna move back home and in hoping I can get a MICU position in any medical city or Baylor. Fingers crossed if not I'll have to stay here in Austin for experience.
Hi everyone! First of all, good luck to everyone! I'm glad I came across this. I had my video interview a week ago and have not heard anything back from BSWH. I am not from the area and I'm also not in contact with a recruiter. Is that bad? Also, does anyone know how long it usually takes to hear back? I saw earlier in the thread someone saying about 3 weeks. Thanks!

I heard back the next business day after submitting my video.

Hello! I spoke to a recruiter who told me it is just taking time because they have so many applicants!! You should put in applications at other locations too! See if that speeds anything up. The digital interview doesn't specify a location or speciality on it, it just asks you your top locations and specialties! I can't imagine you wouldn't get one though already being a Baylor employee!
