Baylor Scott & White Health Nurse Residency; Winter 2019

Updated:   Published

Hello Everyone!

I wanted to start this thread for those who are applying to the winter 2019 nurse residency cohort for Baylor Scott & White Health. This is so we can ask questions and help other possible future team members through the application and hiring process.

Good luck! :specs:

Specializes in Cardiothoracic and Transplant ICU.

We both heard from BUMC in Dallas.

It turns out my interview is on Oct 9 for BUMC in Dallas! Recruiter finally called me to let me know. First he contacted me over email then we spoke on the phone. I keep having to drive back and forth from school and home so I am hoping that it works out so I can and move on with the semester lol

Nice! That is the unit my interview is for too! I am waiting to hear about doing a video interview or if they want me to fly in. I live 17 hours away haha.

Mine is for cardiac tele I believe! He just told me it is at the jack and jane building so I think it's tele because I talked to the managers of that unit at the expo ?

Hey yall, my interview got moved to this week (I am scared lol help me), anyways does anyone have any advice for panel interviews? I've never done a panel interview, only an interview with 2 people at most. So any tips are appreciated!

I had a panel interview for my nurse tech job. There was five nursing managers I believe. They basically just take turns asking questions. It is kind of intimidating at first, but if you just take your time and answer the questions the best you can, you should have nothing to worry about ? take deep breaths!!! They picked you for an interview for a reason!!! Good luck! Let us know how it goes!

Has anyone already done an interview in the ER at BUMC?

If we haven't been offered the video interview, do you think that means we aren't even being considered? :(
