Baylor Scott & White Health Nurse Residency; Winter 2019

Updated:   Published

Hello Everyone!

I wanted to start this thread for those who are applying to the winter 2019 nurse residency cohort for Baylor Scott & White Health. This is so we can ask questions and help other possible future team members through the application and hiring process.

Good luck! :specs:

I think it depends on how long ago you completed the application. It tool me almost a week to get the email about the video interview. As far as I know, I think everyone does the video interview.

I received a phone call about setting up an interview, but I missed the call because I was in clinical. I've called the recruiter back several times and left several messages, but can't get an answer or return phone call. I hope I didn't miss my chance :(

Hello! I applied the second day the application opened and went to the expo in Plano. The recruiter then came to my school and I told him where I applied and that I had not gotten a video interview yet. He then sent me the video interview the next day which I completed. I heard from a recruiter three days later, same situation where he called and left a voicemail really early in the morning. I called multiple times a day every single day and sent an email. I finally got a hold of a recruiter this morning and I was offered an interview!

I would keep calling! I had to call many times at different times of the day. Try really early in the morning between 7am-8am!

Do you happen to have the recruiter's contact info? I haven't heard about a video interview yet either and I didn't go to school in the DFW area so I wasn't able to be in contact with them.

Has anyone heard from BSW Fort Worth or Grapevine?

I applied to Fort Worth and Waxahachie, I have heard from neither.

I had my interview today in Dallas, it went really well. They were soooo nice! They told me the next step is a peer interview with the night shift nurses on that floor (BUMC- heart and vascular building)

yay!!!! What kind of questions did they ask? I have my video interview on Tuesday. They said it wasn't necessary to fly in since they agreed to do a video interview. I'm soooo nervous.

They only asked 5 behavioral questions and they wanted the answers in the STAR format! (situation, task, action, result) Like name a time you had a conflict, name a time you went above and beyond, etc. That is great that they are letting you do a video interview, you got this!! Good luck :)

Has anyone heard back from baylor frisco, rowlett or waxahachie??

I feel so dumb. I did not attach my cover letter to the application and it will not let me edit the application. Is there any way I can submit it through an email or any other method?
